In late 2007 three friends, namely Ambarish Mehta, Srivas Barsaleu, and Balaram Briant started the Save The Dear Club. Then during February 2010 Balaram Briant got the idea to do something bigger, so he planned on founding a animal rights group called ISHTA (International Society for the Humane Treatment of Animals). However came March he decided that he needed a better name. He started the STOP ANIMAL ABUSE group on facebook (which now has over 300 members) and changed his society’s name to SEAB, The Society for the End of Animal Abuse.
