"Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."
~Albert Einstein
Many modern scientists have said that humans are omnivores. However, given the length of the human digestive track, it seems hardly fair to say that even if humans are omnivores, meat is a healthy cuisine.
Carnivores like the lion and tiger have short intestinal tracks. Meat goes in one end and comes out the other in a short amount of time, thus preventing the meat from rotting in the intestines. Since humans have a longer digestive track, meat rots and putrefies in the intestines, causing cancer and other diseases. Meat is highly toxic, so carnivores have stomach acid 20 times stronger than that of humans and other herbivores so that they can quickly digest and eliminate the toxins.
Of all the body, the kidney is most affected by a diet that includes meat. This organ separates toxins from the blood, and even people who only eat meat moderately demand three times the work from their kidneys. Kidney failure is the 9th top cause of American deaths. Meat can also cause heart failure (the number one cause of American deaths).
Keeping these facts in mind, it is advisable to adopt a vegetarian diet both for your health, and because it is cruel to kill helpless animals for food.
