Animals Burned at the University of Texas

Animals have been reportedly burned, disfigured, and left to die in the University of Texas' Medical Branch. Experimenters inflicted pigs, mice, and sheep to various third degree burns on most of their bodies. Sheep were also forced into inhaling smoke and dogs were victims of painful surgeries where no anesthetics were used. One dog died in pain after surgery because experimenters were unable to use the monitoring devices properly. This is not an unusual predicament for animals at several major universities. The University of Utah and University of Arizona also conduct this type of cruel torture in the name of science.

UPDATE: Thanks to animal rights activists around the globe, the two latter universities are no longer testing on animals to half the extent they were. The University of Utah has pledged not to adopt animals from shelters via the "pound seizure" law, and the University of Arizona has invested money in humane teaching equipment.

Einstein Says "Go Vegetarian."

"Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."

~Albert Einstein

Many modern scientists have said that humans are omnivores. However, given the length of the human digestive track, it seems hardly fair to say that even if humans are omnivores, meat is a healthy cuisine.
Carnivores like the lion and tiger have short intestinal tracks. Meat goes in one end and comes out the other in a short amount of time, thus preventing the meat from rotting in the intestines. Since humans have a longer digestive track, meat rots and putrefies in the intestines, causing cancer and other diseases. Meat is highly toxic, so carnivores have stomach acid 20 times stronger than that of humans and other herbivores so that they can quickly digest and eliminate the toxins.
Of all the body, the kidney is most affected by a diet that includes meat. This organ separates toxins from the blood, and even people who only eat meat moderately demand three times the work from their kidneys. Kidney failure is the 9th top cause of American deaths. Meat can also cause heart failure (the number one cause of American deaths).
Keeping these facts in mind, it is advisable to adopt a vegetarian diet both for your health, and because it is cruel to kill helpless animals for food.
